My back had been acting up on me the past week (probably because of the injury from a car accident a couple of years ago and the weather... ). I started noticing my muscles getting tense in the last couple of days and went to bed with a small cramp in the neck. This morning I woke up with such a pain in the neck it's not even funny. My entire shoulder area is tense, and I can't even turn my head to the left. :S
I attempted to get my sister's cat to give me a back massage but she wouldn't... lol... I hope this will go away soon...
Who do you tell your secrets to?
My soulmate/boyfriend and my mom :)
Would you rather have one best friend or ten acquaintances? Why?
Kind of hard to answer this one. Does my boyfriend count as the "best friend"? lol...
I think I'd prefer to have one best friend. I am often very busy with the 10 million projects that are in progress, I hardly have a social life anymore. When I do have the time to hang out with friends, I want it to be quality time and spent with someone that really understands me. I'd like to think that I am productive in my free time (like building and maintaining a good friendship). :)
I got stung (for the very first time) a couple of weeks ago and freaked
out. Not because of the pain (since I was mooning the area around the
sting with my fingernails so hard that I couldn't feel the actual sting
:P) but because my sister is severely allergic to bee stings. Since it
was my first time I wasn't sure if I was allergic so I waited calmly to
see if I had any signs. Thank god I didn't, and the pain went away in
about 30 mins. I received this email from a contact of mine regarding Bee stings a couple of days later.
This information may be something to remember, as this season will soon be here again...
It might be wise to carry a penny in your pocket while working in the yard........... BEE STINGS !
A couple of weeks ago, I was stung by both a bee and hornet while working in the garden.
My arm swelled up, so I went to the doctor. The clinic gave me cream and an antihistamine.. The next day the swelling was getting
progressively worse, so I went to my regular doctor. The arm was infected and needed an antibiotic..The doctor told me - " The next time
you get stung, put a penny on the bite for 15 minutes".That night, my niece was stung by two bees. I looked at the bite and it had already started to swell. So, I taped a penny to her arm for
15 minutes. The next morning, there was no sign of a bite. We decided that she just wasn't allergic to the sting.Soon, I was gardening outside. I got stung again, twice by a hornet on my left hand. I thought, here I go again to the doctor for another
antibiotic.I promptly got my money out and taped two pennies to my bites, then sat and sulked for 15 minutes. The penny took the string out of the
bite immediately. In the meantime the hornets were attacking, and my friend was stung on the thumb. Again the penny. The next morning I could only see the spot
where the hornet had stung me.. No redness, no swelling. My friend's sting was the same; couldn't even tell where she had been stung. She got stung again a few days later upon her back---cutting the grass! And the penny worked once again.
Wanted to share this marvelous information in case you experience the same problem. We need to keep a stock of pennies on hand.
The doctor said that the copper in the penny counteracts the bite.
It definitely works! Please remember and pass this information on
Has anyone tried this before? Does it work?
I've always been curious about this one... I received an e-mail a couple of days ago from my boyfriend's mother. The e-mail was a request to connect on Facebook! I'm not saying that there should be age restrictions or anything like that for Facebook users... But like most people, I have a lot of pictures and comments on there that are more suitable to share with peers than with parental figures... :P
I haven't added her yet and I'm sure I can filter out certain things... but I'm really curious as to how many people will allow full access to their Facebook page to your parents/in-laws?

My IpleHouse Juvenaile Tania - Pierrot arrived today! The 2 month wait was definitely worth it! She is simply gorgeous! <3 I decided to not have her nose painted red, but they gave her nose a little blush to soften her overall faceup.
She was born on July 17, 2008 (a day after my Birthday) and came with a bonus wig!
Tania came with a full set of clothes as well as an extra bonus wig!
Tania wearing a dress I made for my Lati Blue Cara.
